Happy Hooves is a gift to the Phoenix community and visiting this non-profit animal sanctuary was unforgettable! It was wonderful learning about the back stories and personalities of each of the animals on site (some include donkeys, horses, alpacas, cows, goats, etc).
We were so impressed with the owner and host Jesse-his joyful spirit, generosity, and dedication to the animals is an inspiration.
Additionally, we were lucky to book the guesthouse on site (which made the commute to Happy Hooves super easy)! :) It was beautifully maintained, organized, comfortable, clean, and spacious. Highly recommend! (It is posted on AirBnb and VRBO).

Absolutely wonderful experience!!! You never know how social the animals will be when you visit a farm but these animals were so sweet and friendly. We had a wonderful time petting and cuddling them. Each one has their own unique personality and some of them were truly soooo funny. Jesse does a wonderful job, he cares so much for these animals, and we highly recommend you stop by if you're in town. If we knew he had an air b&b guest house prior we would have stayed there!

We absolutely loved Jesse and all of his animals! It’s amazing to be able to be so up close and personal with the animals, they all have their own personalities and it’s amazing to see how far some of the rescues have come, and to even be a PART of their growth in learning to accept love from humans after a rough past. This is one of those experiences that you never forget & cherish in your heart forever!
